Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Daiichi Technologies handles personal information when you visit this website, send us an enquiry, use our chat assistant, try one of our demonstrations, book a call, or exchange messages with us. It applies to information we collect as a business about our own enquiries and clients.

When we build or operate a system on behalf of a client, that client decides how the information in their system is used, and their own privacy policy applies to it rather than this one.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you complete a form, subscribe to updates, chat with our assistant, or book a call, we collect what you choose to share. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, company name, website, the service you are interested in, and the details of your enquiry.

Demonstrations. Our browser demonstrations include a chat assistant and, where offered, a voice experience. The voice experience uses your microphone only while a demo is running and only after you start one. We process what you say in order to respond during the demonstration.

Technical information. We record the page you were on when you contacted us, the site or campaign that referred you, and standard technical details such as your browser type. We use this to understand which of our activities bring people to us.

Job applications. If you apply for a role, we collect the details you submit and the CV you upload or link to. We use them only to assess your application and to contact you about it. We keep applications for up to twelve months so that we can consider you for future roles, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive personal data through this website.

How we use your information

We use what you provide to respond to your enquiry, prepare proposals you have asked for, arrange and hold meetings, deliver services you have engaged us for, and keep records of our business relationship. We also use aggregate information to understand how the website performs and to improve it.

If you ask to speak with a person, we flag your enquiry internally so a member of our team picks it up rather than leaving it to an automated reply.

We do not use your information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement.

Messages, calls, and marketing

If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, we may reply by telephone, WhatsApp, or text message about the enquiry you submitted. We send these messages only to people who have asked us to get in touch or who have otherwise agreed to receive them.

Message frequency varies and depends on your enquiry. Standard message and data rates from your provider may apply. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message or by emailing us. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential messages about work we are already carrying out for you.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run our business, and only as far as each of them needs it to perform its function. These fall into the following categories:

We work with clients and providers in several countries, so your information may be stored or processed outside the country where you live, including in countries whose data protection laws differ from your own. Where that happens we take steps to ensure your information remains protected to a comparable standard.

We keep enquiry information for as long as we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick up the conversation if you return. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for as long as we need them for legal, accounting, and contractual purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent you have given. This website uses a small amount of browser storage to keep the site working properly, for example to remember your chat conversation if you reload the page and to record which campaign or site referred you so that we can measure what is working. Clearing your browser storage removes this.

Any analytics we use are configured to avoid tracking you across unrelated websites, and we do not use them to build advertising profiles about individual visitors.

Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
